At the moment, Celtic do not offer a pay-per-view service for home games. Unlike when Celtic recently played away at Ross County and St Mirren, home and away fans are not able to buy a pay-per-view pass to individual games.
The only fans who will be able to watch Sunday’s game against Hibs are Celtic’s season ticket holders. Non-season ticket holders and Hibs fans will miss out.
It is understandable why Celtic are doing this. The club’s season ticket holders are the lifeblood of the club with the money that they put in.
Club wants to understandably reward season ticket holders
The club obviously wants to reward fans for selling out season tickets this season, when they cannot attend games at the moment.

However, since Celtic game to the decision not to sell games on an individual basis, circumstances have changed, and not for the better.
As 67HH reported, the Scottish football Joint Response Group dealing with the current pandemic are set to talk to clubs, including Celtic, about how they will cope with no fans at all in the stadium this season.
No short teem chance of fans getting into stadiums
The recent new restrictions the Scottish Government introduced ended the possibility of fans getting into grounds in the short term.
Therefore, Celtic should look to offer more fans the chance of seeing the Hoops in action this season.

It should be remembered that for almost every home league game – aside from Rangers – Celtic do sell tickets to non-season ticket holders. You would think around at least 5,000 a game. The Hoops are missing out on that money this season.
You would think that a number of fans would love to have the chance to watch the Hoops in action. Even if the club charges say £30, there will be a demand. As the games are not shown on live television fans will want to see the action.
It is probably too late to introduce this against Hibs. There is no real point doing it for the home league game after that, against Rangers.
However, for the next home league game against St Johnstone, on the 5th of December, Celtic should have the game available for any Hoops fan to buy. It is the sensible thing to do.
In other news, some Celtic fans love Kristoffer Ajer’s reaction to the winning goal against Riga.
