It has been an enjoyable last seven days for Celtic fans after the Bhoys’ pre-season preparations began to ramp up.
The entire squad returned to pre-season this time last week and travelled to Austria to take part in a 10-day pre-season training camp.
So far, the Hoops have also taken part in two entertaining friendly fixtures, defeating Wiener Viktoria 7-0 and playing out a 3-3 draw against Rapid Wien on Saturday.
After a busy ten days of work on the training ground for Ange Postecoglou and his squad, Celtic’s pre-season plans are set to go into the next phase, which will once again leave supporters even more buzzing for the campaign ahead.
On Wednesday, Postecoglou’s side faces their third pre-season match, taking on Banik Ostrava in Czech Republic in what should prove to be another decent test.
The Bhoys will then return to Lennoxtown before being welcomed back to Celtic Park for the first time in nine weeks by supporters in a match against English Championship side Blackburn Rovers.
Not only will they have two games, including one at Parkhead, to look forward to. But, Postecoglou will also return to an almost full-strength squad this week, with Josip Juranovic and Anthony Ralston expected to be back from their minor injury knocks.
The new season is fast approaching, and fans cannot wait to see the players back in action in Scotland, off the back of an extremely successful campaign in 2021/22.
That excitement also has added levels when you consider Postecoglou has been able to complete some fantastic business so early in the transfer window.

I am sure, like myself, many Celtic fans are counting down the days and patiently waiting to get back to Celtic Park this coming weekend.
The work will continue, though, for Postecoglou on the training ground during the week.
However, there may be an extra buzz around the place, which will contribute in a positive manner, due to finally being back at Parkhead on Saturday.
