Jordan Larsson has been continuing to absolutely tear things up with Spartak Moscow, and the Celtic fans continue to be in awe of him.

Last season, the son of Henrik bagged 15 goals in 30 games for the Russian club [Transfermarkt]. And as he finishes off pre-season with Spartak, he added another sublime effort to his collection yesterday.

Larsson featured in yesterday’s final warm-up match ahead of the campaign against Premier League rivals Khimki. He would go on to bag the third goal in a 5-1 rout, which you can see for yourself below:

It’s a strike that certainly caught the Celtic supporters’ attention as many rued the fact we failed to sign him when he left Helsingborg.

Larsson stated last year that it would be a “dream” to return to Parkhead as a player and make his won name after constant comparisons to his dad Henrik [Scottish Sun].

Jordan Larsson to Celtic simply too expensive; but you never know

For now, Larsson Jr just appears to be in a different stratosphere financially at the moment. He’s been linked with the likes of Borussia Dortmund in recent times too, showing exactly where he’s at in terms of his profile [Transfermarkt].

Of course, his emotional attachment could easily open up a route to Parkhead one day. It would likely mean he would need to take a big pay-cut somewhere down the line, but it’s clearly something he wants to do at some stage.

At only 24 years of age, there’s plenty of time for that. But it’s his stunning effort yesterday that makes him such an attractive commodity at the moment. His finish was so similar in style to that of his dad. There are so many reasons for the Celtic fans to keep track of his progress and be excited over what he could become.

And the supporters have been reacting to his latest moment of brilliance below, with many wanting Celtic to splash out for him immediately:
