Rogic to reunite with Rodgers?

Mercurial Australian midfielder Tom Rogic is at the centre of speculation around his future. The Sydney Morning Herald have reported that both Southampton and Leicester City are interested in signing the player. The report goes on to claim that the clubs are willing to pay a ‘record fee’ for an Australian player. Of course, the big take away from this rumour is that Brendan Rodgers is involved. Rogic was an important player for Rodgers during his time as Hoops boss. There was always a chance he could return to Celtic to sign a player. Only time will tell if this turns out to be true. It is certainly plausible.

Izaguirre spills the beans

Emilio Izaguirre has spilled the beans on what could perhaps be a future Celtic target. He has revealed, as reported by the Daily Record, that the club have asked him about his international team-mate, Houston Dynamo striker Alberth Elis. The Hoops will be looking for a new striker in the summer to help the main attacker Odsonne Edouard. However, it remains to be seen if the Hoops have a concrete interest in the player. The fact that the Hoops have reportedly discussed the striker with Izaguirre means there must be interest from someone at the club.
