It is no secret that Celtic seem to be interested in Motherwell midfielder David Turnbull. It is also no secret that the Fir Park side want £3 million for the player.
Should the Hoops stump up the required fee for the player, it would be yet another midfielder to add to the club’s ranks.

Turnbull is known for his goalscoring – he hit 15 last season. You have to wonder how the player’s arrival could affect Tom Rogic’s future at the club?
Turnbull seems like he could take Rogic’s place in the squad as a goalscoring midfielder. With Rogic out of form and injured for part of last season, would Celtic consider selling Rogic if Turnbull signed?

English sides reportedly interested
It was reported last month that both Leicester and Southampton are interested in signing Rogic. If the fee was right, Celtic could decide to let Rogic move on.
Neil Lennon has used Rogic fairly regularly since he became Hoops manager, but in a fair number of those games he was substituted.

Rogic’s future at Celtic could be linked to the Turnbull deal. Should the Motherwell man join the Hoops, it would possibly make sense to sell Rogic.
However, should Turnbull move to another club, Lennon may decide to keep Rogic. On his day Rogic is a brilliant player. Sadly for a variety of reasons last season, those days were few and far between.
It is bound to be a busy summer of transfer ins and outs at Celtic Park. Only time will tell if Turnbull and Rogic are involved in transfer deals in the near future.
