Below, 67 Hail Hail have shared our writers’ predictions for the Scottish Premiership clash between Dundee and Celtic.

The international break is over, and Celtic are back in action at long last.

Before a Europa League tie against Sturm Graz and a top of the table clash away at Hearts is a trip to bottom of the table Dundee.

It has been a difficult season for former Hoops defender Steven Pressley and Brendan Rodgers will be hoping to pile on the misery this Sunday.

So, without further ado, here are our predictions for the game at Dens Park.

67 Hail Hail writers predict Dundee vs Celtic

Patrick Sinat

“It will be a tight affair with Dundee sitting in and defending as they look to get out of the relegation places.

“With Steven Pressley’s side averaging just two shots per game this season, the Celtic defence won’t be troubled. Breaking the low block will be what Celtic need to focus on so I predict a narrow win.”

Paddy’s prediction: Dundee 0-2 Celtic

Gary Kirkpatrick

“Only Livingston have conceded more goals than Dundee in the Premiership this season so far, while the Dens Park club have only scored six times.

“Celtic simply must win this fixture, particularly if Hearts earn a victory in Ayrshire on Derek McInnes’ return to Kilmarnock the previous day.

“Three points are the only acceptable outcome here, as well as a convincing performance.”

Gary’s prediction: Dundee 0-2 Celtic

Amir Mir

“Expect Celtic to start performing at full flow now, after that late winner over Motherwell and Dundee’s struggles near the bottom.

“This is a huge six weeks for Brendan Rodgers and the team, and it will start with three points.

“Kelechi Iheanacho to score again, Michel-Ange Balikwisha to also get on the scoresheet, alongside Daizen Maeda.

Amir’s prediction: Dundee 0-3 Celtic

Martin Crawford

“Hope I’m wrong, but I remember seeing how deep Dundee were against Rangers, and that coupled with our tendency to start slow has me not massively looking forward to this.

“I can see Balikwisha starting, so his performance will be predictive of the result. It remains to be seen if he can do it from the start.

“I’ll go for a 1-0 Celtic win with Iheanacho getting the winner – just as he did in the game after the last international break.”

“Make no mistake, this block of fixtures before the November internationals are make-or-break for Brendan Rodgers, Celtic and their season.

“In theory, the Hoops should be brushing aside Dundee comfortably. They look very poor across the pitch and aren’t offering anything from an attacking perspective.

“This is a perfect chance for Celtic to stamp their mark on the game from minute one, get a few goals and build some momentum. I’m predicting a strong performance from the Bhoys.
