Ewan Henderson should seek loan move if Celtic land midfield targets

Celtic look to be aggressively in the market for a midfielder. The Hoops have been linked with three midfielders in recent times.

The trio of players are Joe Aribo, David Turnbull and Luca Connell.

Should the Hoops sign even two of those players, that will be yet more additions to the most crowded area of the Celtic side.

Too talented to leave permanently

That could mean that some players leave the club. Ewan Henderson could be one of those players. However, that should not mean that Henderson leaves on a permanent basis. He is too talented for that.

Instead, Henderson can be loan out for a season. It would be the best thing for both the player and the club.

Loan deals have worked well for two players that are mainstays in the Hoops side. Kristoffer Ajer benefited from a season with Kilmarnock.

Whilst Ryan Christie had an exceptional 18-month spell at Aberdeen.

Henderson has made the breakthrough to the Hoops squad this season, making six appearances for the Hoops.

Will want more regular football

Now that he has had a taste of first-team football, he will want it on a regular basis. Neil Lennon would no doubt agree with that.

Therefore, should the Hoops sign midfielders look for Henderson to go on loan this summer. A regular start for a Premiership side could be a huge benefit to the player. It would be better than sitting on the bench or playing for the reserves anyway.
