Celtic teenage sensation Jeremie Frimpong could be given another chance to impress when the Hoops take on St. Mirren on Wednesday evening.
The young Dutch right-back has arguably been one of the brightest things about the first-team in recent weeks with his energy and enthusiasm lighting up Celtic Park.

Until now, Frimpong hasn’t played two matches in a row. His appearances have been sporadic and calculated by Neil Lennon. But now he could be in line to complete a double for the first time.
Frimpong gives us an attacking boost against St. Mirren
Frimpong has jumped ahead of Moritz Bauer in the right-back pecking order in recent weeks. Despite being significantly younger than the Austrian he already seems to have more to his game in an attacking sense. That’s something that will be crucial against a dogged St. Mirren.
Hatem Abd Elhamed is regularly chosen by Lennon when the big games come around. You would fully expect him to be in the team for Hampden on Saturday and in Rome five days later. So why risk the Israeli in a match we should win against the Buddies?

Seeing Frimpong on the pitch will give the Parkhead crowd a boost on what could be a quieter night. He has the potential to inject some life into proceedings like he has in all three of his prior games.
It seems like a pretty straightforward choice for Lennon to make.
