Celtic starlet Karamoko Dembele is certainly one of the most exciting players that the Hoops have had on their books for a long time.
It is not often that a player who is just 16 makes the first-team, but that is what happened last season, when he made his debut in the 2-1 win over Hearts.
The attacker has played for both Scotland and England’s international sides. However, it has been reported by the Scottish Sun that he has elected to chose to play for England from now on.
That decision can only benefit both the player and Celtic. Perhaps not now, but certainly in the long run.
It has to be said, that at this moment in time, the player would benefit more from playing with the English youth set-up than in the Scottish.
Could help Hoops attract players in the future

That is no slight to the Scottish teams, but it stands to reason that England will have better players. Where it could benefit Celtic will be if Dembele for example makes a squad for a World Cup or European Championship for England.
That would look good for Celtic, especially when it comes to signing youth players. They could say to any potential signing that they can follow in the footsteps of a player who is off to a major tournament as a Celtic player.
That is for in the future though. For now, Dembele will be hoping to make an impact in the Celtic reserves, and in the England youth teams.
Return to the first-team could happen this season

Should he continue on his current trajectory, then a return to the Celtic first-team could happen at some stage this season.
That could lead to more games with England, and hopefully an eventual call-up to the under-19 England team. Celtic could have a very special player with Dembele. Only time will tell how far he will go in the game.
