It’s looking increasingly likely that Kieran Tierney will remain a Celtic player this summer.
The 22-year-old has been a transfer target for Arsenal since the window opened in June, with the Gunners having at least two bids rejected for his services thus far.

The Daily Record report that Celtic recently rejected a third bid for the left-back with the deal once again seen as being unsatisfactory. That has reportedly led Arsenal to leave the negotiating table and turn to other targets.
Tierney staying would be a massive boost to Celtic
In all the chat of Tierney going to Arsenal or Napoli this summer, the possibility of him staying in Glasgow has rarely been considered.
It was just assumed that Celtic’s valuation would be met and the Scotland international would be moving on. While that is still a real possibility, it now looks increasingly likely that the 22-year-old will stay put.

If he did then it would arguably be the best bit of news Celtic have had all summer. Tierney is a massive player for the club who contributes goals, assists and clean sheets to the cause.
He is one of the most gifted players on our books but he also finds a consistent level like few others. His injury problems have hampered him in the last 12 months but he’ll be hoping to put them behind him this season – whatever club he’s playing for.

He has a genuine back-up at Celtic now in Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo, and that can only be good for his future development.
Keeping Tierney would gives the players, management and the support a huge lift at the club. With everything to come we could do with keeping our best players. Tierney certainly fits in to that category.
