Another important game for Celtic, and once more Scott Sinclair is not in the Hoops starting line-up.
The Hoops have played three competitive games so far this season. Sinclair hasn’t started any of them. He didn’t even get off the bench in the 5-0 win over Nomme Kalju.
Hoops have started season in good form

Neil Lennon seems to be favouring the likes of Lewis Morgan and Mikey Johnston over Sinclair. This is Lennon’s prerogative. So far, it has paid off too, as the Hoops have started the Champions League qualifiers in good form.
Ironically, Sinclair may get his first start of the season in the second leg against Kalju. With the Hoops so far ahead in the tie, Neil Lennon may make changes from the team which started the first leg.
Will that be enough to satisfy Sinclair? Who knows. He did sign a one-year contract extension with the Hoops back in May.
Not been a regular starter since Lennon took over

However, he has not really been a regular starter since Neil Lennon took over as caretaker manager. That has continued now that Lennon is permanent manager.
Maybe the lack of game time will prompt Sinclair to consider his options about his Celtic future. Perhaps it is too early in the season for that. Sinclair will undeniably get a run of games for the Hoops at some stage of the season.
That might not be for a good while yet though. For the moment, other players are ahead of him in the pecking order.
