Latest injury could speed up Celtic need to bring in more additions
Celtic may need to consider bringing in another centre-back to their squad, as the Hoops deal with some early season injury problems.
Neil Lennon revealed on the club’s Twitter account that Jack Hendry will miss the Champions League qualifier with Sarajevo on Tuesday due to injury.
🗣️ NL: "@Jack_Hendry2 and Marian Shved didn't travel due to picking up knocks in training yesterday."

Now, Hendry might not be a regular starter for the Hoops. But he is a still a member of the first-team squad. With the injury, the Hoops only currently have three centre-backs in the squad – and one of them – Christopher Jullien – has yet to make his debut for the Hoops.
Situation must be rectified
That is a situation that must be rectified by the Hoops as soon as possible. It is easy to see why the club have been focusing on fixing the full-back situation at the club.
With Mikael Lustig’s departure and concerns over Kieran Tierney’s future, those positions have taken precedence this summer.
Look to bring in another centre-back
However, the centre-back situation is now becoming serious at the club. Therefore, as soon as the Sarajevo game is completed, the Hoops must look to bring in another centre-back.
Even an experienced free transfer would do the job. It has worked in the past for the Hoops – look at Kolo Toure for example.
Another signing of that type could prove to be ideal for the Hoops as Celtic face a quite urgent need to add to their squad.
