Another year of Celtic is drawing to a close.
It’s been a weird one.
That’s probably undercooking the turkey a bit.
The last 12 months have been incredibly chaotic not just for Celtic but, well, all of us.
I don’t know anyone not affected by the ongoing pandemic somehow, whether at the severe end losing loved ones or at the mild end just feeling about anxious about what our politicians are telling us.
Those are the circumstances that have dominated our lives and, along the way, football has been a secondary concern for the most part.
Yet we still use it as an escape, as an outlet, as a conduit to place our passions.
Celtic in 2020
Celtic are undeniable even amid a pandemic.
On the pitch, things haven’t exactly gone smoothly over the last 12 months, yet we still end the year as Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup champions.
The Quadruple Treble achievement is something that will never be forgotten or likely surpassed.
Even at a low ebb, Celtic icons such as Neil Lennon and Scott Brown managed to gather enough strength to get over the finishing line of that achievement.
We end 2020 in a precarious position, but there’s still hope. There’s always hope at Celtic. Everyone is hoping the club can push on to be a consistent football outfit in 2021.

Here on the website, this hasn’t been an easy year either. However, it has been one of major transition.
At one point during the pandemic, the writing staff was reduced to just one, but thanks to you, our faithful readers and viewers, we managed to rebound following football’s return.
We’re now in a stronger position than ever.
We even recently added to our staff, bringing Euan Davidson on board. Hopefully, you already recognise him as a writer who can write well, offer strong opinions, and present a sound argument.
He’s needed that in the early stages of his work here. We’ve been compelled to write quite negatively about Celtic over the last couple of months.
This isn’t something we enjoy doing, but we feel it has reflected what we’ve seen on the park.
Celtic signs of life
Thankfully, of late, we’ve been in a position to celebrate some of the good things about Celtic again. We’ll always do so when it’s credible.
We are now attracting over 400,000 users every month, trying to experiment with new content types and striving to be a trusted place for Celtic news, opinion and reaction.
If you haven’t noticed, we’ve also established a thriving YouTube channel that recently passed 1,000,000 total views. We’re also edging closer towards 10,000 subscribers there, so what are you waiting for, join up!

We appreciate the role we have. We enjoy doing the work we do. We hope that 2021 will be one of the best years for 67 Hail Hail yet, and more importantly, a great one for Celtic.
