Neil Lennon has a rather welcome dilemma ahead of Celtic’s Champions League opener against FK Sarajevo next week. The Hoops travel to the home of the Bosnian champions knowing that a couple of goals would likely put them in the driving seat for the return leg a week later.

Could Griffiths start for Celtic?
Odsonne Edouard is likely to lead the line for Lennon’s men in the soaring temperatures, but that perhaps isn’t as much of a given as it was a week or so ago.
Leigh Griffiths has hit the ground running for the Hoops in pre-season. The forward, who missed the final six months of last season, has netted six goals in his three friendlies so far this season. Granted they have not been against substantial opposition, but the fact remains that he’s banging them in while Edouard is not.

The Frenchman had a decent game in Switzerland on Tuesday night without doing any real damage. The forward will probably take a few weeks to get properly up to speed with things so it may make sense for Lennon to give Griffiths the nod.
Whatever choice he makes, the Northern Irishman will just be glad he now has a number of striking options at his disposal.
