Pundit Neil McCann believes that Celtic are “looking ominous” after Neil Lennon’s side made it five Scottish Premiership wins from five on Saturday, speaking to BBC Scotland (14/09 live match page, 14:07).
The 1-0 win over Hamilton ensured that the Hoops have maintained a three point lead over rivals Rangers.
Although it was a narrow victory, Celtic were always in control of the match and didn’t look like dropping points from the moment the ball kicked off.
The league form is imperious, with Lennon’s teams scoring 18 goals in five matches and conceding just three.
McCann has been left impressed, telling BBC Scotland (14/09 live match page, 14:00 & 14:07): “It’s three points and, for Celtic, it doesn’t matter how you get them.
“Compliments to Hamilton, they played really well in the second half, but it’s a relentless charge from Celtic, five wins from five, and their fans go home happy.
“Celtic are setting a blistering pace at the top of the table. They weren’t sparkling today, but that is how you win titles.”

Can anyone stop us?
Looking at Celtic’s fixture list, there’s certainly an opportunity to continue racking up the points in the league.
Kilmarnock visit Celtic Park next Sunday before we travel to struggling Hibs at Easter Road. Matches against Livingston and Ross County follow before things start livening up with a trip to Pittodrie.
It won’t be as easy as automatically winning the points, as it looks on paper, with European matches sandwiching these fixtures potentially throwing off performances.
With another international break on the horizon too, there can be no guarantees when it comes to injuries to key players and other issues.
McCann is right to suggest that our current form is the mark of champions, but there’s a long way to go yet and we must stay focused.
