The January transfer window is on the verge of closing for Celtic.
Time is running out to make additions to the squad.
We do know that the Hoops are in the market for a right-back. The Scotsman are reporting that the club hope to get Borussia Dortmund’s Jeremy Toljan signed.

But if that deal doesn’t go through, there is no need to panic.
The Hoops have enough right-backs at the club in Mikael Lustig and Anthony Ralston to see them through to the end of the season.
Early impressions of the signings made by Celtic in January made are good.
MORE CELTIC STORIES

Oliver Burke and Timothy Weah have both made impressions already.
The club must see something long-term in striker Vakoun Issouf Bayo, which is why he was signed on a four year contract.
There might be some complaints about the Burke and Weah moves being loan deals.

Unfortunately, that is increasingly becoming the market even for big clubs like Celtic.
Weah and Burke would not come to Celtic on permanent deals, their clubs wouldn’t sell.
Celtic could have a rebuilding job on the summer.
But for now it is all about getting the league and a possible triple treble won.
The new players brought in can definitely help contribute to that, as can the players already at the club.
