Celtic look set to make their second permanent signing of the transfer window soon.
Karpaty Lviv winger Maryan Shved could be next in line to wear the famous green and white hoops.
However, it looks like the player is one for the future.

The Daily Record claims that the transfer would see the player go out on loan until the end of the season.
Such a move has it’s pros and cons.
For a start, Shved won’t meet up with his new team-mates until pre-season training begins.

There won’t be a lot of time before the Bhoys play in their Champions League Qualifiers.
It has to be said though, that Shved is unlikely to get much playing time if he arrives in Glasgow this month.
As a right-winger, he would have competition with James Forrest for a place in the starting line-up.

Forrest is one of the key men at Celtic, and won’t be losing his place in the first-team any time soon.
Recent loan arrival Oliver Burke can also play on the right-wing.
Some of Celtic’s recent transfer dealings might not have made the most sense – the Charly Musonda and Jack Hendry signings for example.
On this occasion though, the right thing to do is to delay Shved’s arrival in Glasgow until next season.
