As an eternal optimist, I believe Celtic are busy beavering away behind-the-scenes on the transfer window.
The players will be working at Lennoxtown in preparation for the Wednesday night match against Hamilton.
You wouldn’t really know it though.
With no match at the weekend, no press conferences and no club outlet like The Celtic View currently operating, it’s been stony silence from Celtic since the 2-2 draw against Livingston.
All we’ve really heard from the club has been the odd social media post to wish a former player happy birthday.
The problem is, they’re not really living in reality.
Yes, I’m sure it’s probably peaceful within their bubble of “fighting until it’s mathematically impossible”. Outside the club, fans remain angry and questions need to be answered.
What’s the status of the January review? Are the club planning on making any signings? How’s the defender shortlist going?
Reality will quickly hit the club again tomorrow with outside reporters set to be granted press conference access in the build-up to the Accies fixture.
I’m sure all these questions, and more, will be on the table.
Neil Lennon and Celtic must front up
I know the media in Scotland aren’t exactly popular with Celtic supporters, but they are really the only people capable of getting anything out of club figures at the moment.
Last week’s Neil Lennon press conference contained a lot of information, whether you agreed with it or not. His demeanour provided us with even more insight.

Will the manager be put in front of reporters again, or will John Kennedy be on press duties as he was directly after the Dubai trip? That decision may tell its own story.
Regardless, Celtic will once again be exposed to the truth unfolding outside the building – this era is over, fans know it and action must be taken.
Whether they meet that with anger and denial like last week will be fascinating to find out.
In other news, the four club chase for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard.
