Celtic seem to be very keen on signing highly-rated Motherwell starlet David Turnbull. The Hoops were recently reported to be planning to submit a bid of £1.2 million for the player.
However, Motherwell want far more money than the reported bid. As reported by the Herald, Motherwell are demanding £3 million for the player.
Multiple clubs in England reportedly interested

The report goes on to claim that the Steelmen want add-ons and a sell-on clause as part of the deal, and that five clubs in England are interested in the midfielder.
It is no surprise that Motherwell want big money for the player. He has been a revelation for the Fir Park side since breaking into the first-team.
Last season he scored 16 goals from the middle of the park, which is more than any Hoops midfielder manager.

Lennon’s first test as manager
This could be the first real test of Neil Lennon’s second spell as Hoops manager. Naturally he must want to bring the player to the club.

However, will he and the powers that be at the club consider three million pound too much money for Turnbull? After all, he has only just made his breakthrough to the Motherwell side. He might not play as well next season.
It has to be said though, if Turnbull has been earmarked as a key signing for the Hoops then the board and Lennon should move quickly to get the deal done.
