Tom Rogic was missed for Celtic when he went off to play for Australia in the Asian Cup.
The mercurial playmaker was of course absent when the Hoops went down 1-0 to Rangers in December.
But now he is on his way back to Glasgow, after Australia’s 1-0 loss to UAE.
Celtic fans will be hoping that Rogic’s return inspires the side to hit the heights it did earlier in the season.
Brendan Rodgers had to deal with a malfunctioning Celtic side earlier in the season.

Scott Brown in particular seem jaded.
There followed poor results such as the 2-1 loss to Kilmarnock and the 0-0 draw with St Mirren.

However, Rodgers eventually found a blend that worked.
The midfield trio of Rogic, Ryan Christie and Callum McGregor worked superbly.

The Hoops went on a great run, defeating title rivals Hearts 5-0 and Kilmarnock 5-1.
The absence of Rogic to play international duty saw this midfield trio be broken up.
But now that Rogic is on his way back, the Celtic boss has a decision to make.

Will he keep Brown in the team, or will he bring back the Rogic-McGregor-Christie trio?
He should opt for the latter, as the trio had Celtic playing their best football of the season.
Brown still has a role to play of course, and will be an important member of the squad in the weeks ahead.
For now though, Rogic should be restored the first-team as soon as he returns from Australia.
