It’s time for Scott Sinclair to spend some time on the Celtic bench. The Englishman has featured in all but two of the matches since Neil Lennon retook the managerial hotseat in February.
However, Sinclair is yet to score under his new boss with his last goal coming in former manager Brendan Rodgers’ final match in charge – a 4-1 victory over Motherwell.

The little winger scored 25 goals on the way to the Player of the Year award in his first season at the Hoops but he has found consistent form harder to come by in recent seasons.
The current style being adopted by Neil Lennon’s outfit is seeing more crosses being thrown into the box. Sinclair possesses neither a great delivery or a powerful heading ability, so it may be best if he spends some time off the pitch.

Lennon is a fan of Jonny Hayes
The Irishman may be the most likely to fill any possible void left by Sinclair. Lennon seems to trust the winger and started him in both the recent derby win over Rangers and the Scottish Cup success over Aberdeen.
Hayes offers a width to the Celtic side that Sinclair simply doesn’t. He also seems keen to take men on where the Englishman looks hesitant.

Weah is a missed opportunity
Celtic have missed the boat with the loan signing of PSG man Timothy Weah. The American scored on his one and only start under Lennon in last month’s victory over St Mirren.
The 19 year-old showed real promise in his first few matches under Rodgers in January. So it’s a real shame that he’s not been given a consistent run of games by either of his managers. He looks certain to return to France at the end of the season.
