Some Celtic fans have called on manager Neil Lennon to utilise Olivier Ntcham more than he currently is.
The Frenchman hasn’t started a match since the 3-1 home win against Hearts last month.
Even though the midfielder was not involved in any international action over the recent break, he was an unused substitute against Hamilton on Saturday.
That’s despite Callum McGregor looking a little laboured with his performance. The Scotland cap was heavily involved for Steve Clarke’s side against Russia and Belgium.
Ntcham was also a notable performer from the bench against Rangers recently. He showed the kind of incisive midfield play that could have been useful in killing off the game against Accies.
Is it time for McGregor to be given a rest? Should Ntcham come into the team for the upcoming Rennes clash?
That could be a massive match for the 23-year-old given it’s a high-profile match in his homeland. A big performance in that one could really catch the eye of media and onlookers in France.

His vision and ability to show a bit of ambition with his possession could be an effective weapon against the Ligue 1 side too.
Some Celtic fans are certainly eager to see him in action sooner rather than later, taking to Twitter this weekend to share their thoughts…
