The buzz for Celtic's pre-season return has just stepped up a notch
After such a brilliant first campaign under Ange Postecoglou, there is a real buzz surrounding Celtic’s full return to pre-season.
Supporters have loved the incredible turnaround produced by the Hoops boss and his players.
And now, they cannot wait for phase two of the Postecoglou era to begin.
The former Socceroos boss is building something special at Parkhead, and the next five weeks could allow him to take this side to a whole new level.
Not only are Celtic fans excited to see pre-season, but also the new additions that will join the group.
During this window, the Bhoys have added four new permanent signings – Cameron Carter-Vickers, Ben Siegrist, Alexandro Bernabei and Jota.
We are just under a month into the window, and Postecoglou has already covered priority areas of the squad.
The latest of the four signings, Jota, seems to have stepped up the excitement for the Hoops trip to Austria next week.
Fans will get a glimpse of Ange and his squad ahead of the new season next week and have six friendly fixtures to look forward to.
This year’s pre-season certainly has a different feel to it, due to the club not being involved in early European qualifiers.
I am sure it is a position the staff at Celtic and supporters can get used to, allowing the players time to simply get to work.
Personally, I cannot wait for that first game next Wednesday and plenty of fans will be feeling the exact same way.
In other news, The add-on effect Jota signing could bring for Celtic.
