It looks as if Celtic could be making some additions to their already crowded midfield this summer. The Hoops have agreed a fee worth £3 million with Motherwell for David Turnbull.
Meanwhile, reports claim that the Hoops have approached Bolton with a view to signing Luca Connell. Should the duo join the Hoops it seems inevitable that some midfielders may leave the club in the summer.
Here we examine three of the most likely candidates to move on from Celtic Park.
OLIVER NTCHAM

Perhaps the player most likely to leave the Hoops in the summer. Both Porto and Marseille are reportedly interested in the player, and Celtic have been reported to have named their price for the midfielder. Ntcham didn’t have the best of seasons last year, perhaps both he and the club will think the time is right for the player and the club to part ways.
NIR BITTON

The utility player was limited in his appearances last season, as injuries and squad rotation meant that he didn’t get a chance to show what he can do. Despite being reunited with Neil Lennon, Bitton still hasn’t featured that often under the new manager. Perhaps he will feel that a move away from Celtic will give him the chance to play regular first-team football.
TOM ROGIC

The mercurial midfield could see his place in the first-team under threat from Turnbull, should he join the Hoops. He didn’t have the best of seasons last year, as he was another player who struggled to recover from injury. On his day he is amongst the best players in the side, but fans didn’t see enough of that last year. Should the Hoops receive a large bid for Rogic, they could consider selling him.
