Neil Lennon has left himself with an intriguing selection dilemma for Celtic’s Champions League clash against Cluj.

The Hoops boss has confirmed that everyone in his squad is fit – which includes Mikey Johnston, who missed the first leg of the tie.

That is good news for the Hoops fans, as Johnston has been in excellent form this season. However, he may not be guaranteed a start against Cluj.

The reason for that is that Neil Lennon is undeniably a fan of the man who replaced him against Cluj, Lewis Morgan.

Since Morgan returned to Celtic in the summer, Lennon has picked him for the first-team on a fairly regular basis. That is something that did not happen under Brendan Rodgers.

However, Lennon has faith in Morgan’s abilities. Which is why he selected him for the first leg against Cluj, and the recent win over Motherwell.

Therefore, it would not be a surprise to see Johnston kept on the bench, and Morgan starting the game against Cluj.

It would be another show of faith in the player by Neil Lennon. He obviously feels that Morgan can make a big contribution for the Hoops this season.

Johnston will probably be involved at the game in some stage. His form this season has been too good for him not to play some role. But he may have to be satisfied with a place on the bench, as Morgan might well get the nod to start.
