With Neil Lennon recently confirmed as Celtic manager, the Hoops will now be turning their attention to the business of adding players to the squad for the tilt at nine in a row.
As yet, the Hoops have yet to make any signings for next season. Perhaps that is understandable, the manager issue had to be resolved first.
Focus on signing players

However, now the Hoops can focus on bringing players to the club. Neil Lennon will have his own idea about who he wants the Hoops to sign.
But, he could look at players targeted by former boss Brendan Rodgers and consider them worthy additions to the Hoops squad.
One such player is Aberdeen centre-back Scott McKenna.

The Hoops reportedly had a bid turned down for the player last summer. Brendan Rodgers turned his attention to new targets, and brought Filip Benkovic to the club.
May pursue former target
Now Benkovic is gone from the club, as is Dedryck Boyata. Therefore, the Hoops need a centre-back. Will Lennon opt to pursue McKenna?

The one aspect that might put Celtic off returning for the player is money. Aberdeen will want a lot of money for a player they rate highly.
Lennon and Celtic might consider spending their money somewhere else instead. However, should Lennon identify McKenna as a player he wants, the Hoops should go all out to bring the player to the club.
