The Scottish Cup is a competition that Celtic have loved throughout their history.
Celtic are one of the most decorated teams in the world and have won the Scottish Cup 42 times, which is more than any other team.
They’ve had plenty of famous runs over the years, hitting some high scorelines in that time.
Here, 67 Hail Hail is going to look back at five of the biggest results the Bhoys have achieved throughout the team’s history.

My favourite Scottish Cup memory is…
5) Celtic 5-1 – various teams
A whole host of teams have been put to the sword by this scoreline over the years.
It represents a dominant history in this competition, with opponents all across the Scottish pyramid feeling the heat.
This usually happens in the earlier rounds, but has occasionally been repeated in the latter stages.
4) Celtic 5-0 – various teams
Another common result in the early stages of the competition is a convincing 5-0 win.
Victories against the likes of Buckie Thistle from the non-league scene have been well-documented in the past.
Even when Celtic rotate the side to give fringe players a a go, they are still capable of putting on a five-star display.
3) Celtic 5-0 Rangers – 1925 Scottish Cup semi-final
Yes, it is the same scoreline as the previous one, but the fact that this was a semi-final against Rangers means it deserves its own slot.
The Glasgow derby was tipped to be a close-fought encounter but instead it was just one-way traffic for the Bhoys.
What made it better was that Rangers were league and cup holders at the time, but Celtic were no match for them.

2) Celtic 6-1 Hibernian – 1972 Scottish Cup final
The 1972 Scottish Cup final is the joint-highest scoreline of all time as the Hoops made light work of Hibernian.
Everything turned to gold that day as the Edinburgh club couldn’t match the intensity of Celtic.
Jock Stein’s side were on fire, especially Dixie Deans, who bagged a wonderful hat-trick. Lou Macari and Billy McNeil completed the rout on a great afternoon at Hampden Park.
1) Hearts 0-7 Celtic – 2013
It was seventh heaven for Celtic at Tynecastle in 2013 as Kris Commons stole the headlines with a hat-trick in convincing circumstances.
Scott Brown also managed a brace on the day, converting one from the penalty spot. Joe Ledley also scored but the pick of the punch was Mikael Lustig with a scorcher from distance that smacked off the underside of the crossbar before going over the line.
Hearts were dealing with a 15-point deduction, as well as a transfer ban at the time, but take nothing away from Neil Lennon’s team, who were excellent on the day.
