Celtic Park has always been a special place and never fails to amaze the best players in the world.
Over the years, the likes of Lionel Messi and Samuel Eto’o have praised the Parkhead atmosphere from their visits to Glasgow.
There truly is no better sound than hearing the roar of 60,000 fans in attendance, and Ferenc Puskas, one of the best to play the beautiful game, was no different when he played in a special friendly between the Hoops and Real Madrid.

What Ferenc Puskas said about the Celtic fans
As part of a charity fundraiser, Madrid were invited to play Celtic in a one-off friendly in 1962.
While Celtic chose to field a younger side including the likes of Billy McNeill, Stevie Chalmers and Bobby Lennox, Los Blancos brought the big-hitters to Parkhead.
Puskas, Alfredo Di Stefano and Paco Gento were among those in the side that ran out as 3-1 winners.
72,000 supporters packed into the stadium to see the game, generating an atmosphere like the visitors had never heard before.
It was something that stuck with Puskas, who admitted that he wanted to bring the Celtic fans back to Spain with him.

Real Madrid too much for Celtic
The Hoops were unable to record a surprise win against Madrid as Puskas opened the scoring in the first half.
Amancio Amaro then doubled the lead but Celtic got into the break with a scoreline that didn’t neccessarily reflect how they had played.
Gento then made sure that Los Blancos were out of sight before Chalmers added a consolation.
The Lisbon Lion did score a second; however, it was chalked off for offside.
Over £10,000 was raised and set the tone for more successful nights against European teams.
