One of Celtic’s darkest days will always be on 8 January, 2006, when they were beaten by Clyde in the Scottish Cup.
Gordon Strachan was the man in charge that day and was accused of underestimating the First Division side.
In his lineup, the team featured Roy Keane, who disappointed on his debut, along with the other players that were selected.
He wasn’t the only player to make his first appearance that day, although his time with the Hoops is more difficult to remember.

There must be some iconic shouts…
Du Wei made Celtic debut with the Hoops
If you asked Celtic fans who Du Wei is, chances are they may not remember him very well.
Wei was signed on a six-month contract and was thrown into the lions’ den with a debut against Clyde.
That would be the only time fans ever saw him, and probably for good reason.
He was substituted at half-time and immediately dropped from the squad before disappearing into the wilderness and never being seen again.
Who is the most important player in the Celtic squad?
Du Wei had a unique clause that allowed him to leave Celtic
It was no surprise to see that the Chinese defender only made one appearance for the club, but what was interesting was the length of the deal he signed.
Celtic confirmed that Du Wei had agreed on a four-year contract, but, it contained a clause.
This unique clause allowed Wei to return to China and back to Shanghai Shenhua, despite once featuring for his nation in the World Cup.
Truly one of Celtic’s most bizarre moments.
