Celtic finally have a striker in the building, but that wasn’t without searching far and wide.
The Hoops confirmed the addition of Tomas Cvancara on loan in time for the game against Hearts this weekend and have one less concern to worry about in the transfer market.
At one point it seemed like Callum Wilson would be the man coming in for the rest of the season before talks had died down.
Frank McAvennie told the Hoops to sign Wilson but in the end they opted against any serious move, who up until now, looked destined to leave West Ham United.

All of the talk in January so far had been about Wilson having his contract cancelled by West Ham early.
Since then, the one-time Hoops target scored the winner for the struggling Premier League side against Tottenham Hotspur and now, according to Ben Jacobs, the 33-year-old is now set to stay.
It is that goal that seems to have changed things as well and the England international will remain in East London to try and help the Hammers stay in the Premier League.
Do Celtic need another striker?
Now that Cvancara is through the door, the demand for another striker has reduced drastically.
Celtic still probably need two-three more signings but can focus on other positions for now.
How many signings do Celtic need in January?
A centre-back is one of those, while a right winger also seems like a necessity.
Other areas that could also be assessed are the goalkeeper and central midfield roles, but they may have to wait until the summer.
