Afolabi in, Morrison out on a busy day of transfers for Celtic
After a quiet spell, it seems like there is some movement in the transfer market by Celtic. Neil Lennon has confirmed that the Hoops are set to sign former Southampton attacker Jonathan Afolabi on a free transfer.
Afolabi, who is a winger, is set to join the Hoops on a two-year deal, the Hoops boss revealed to the Daily Record.
The player was pictured at Celtic’s Betfred Cup match against Dunfermline.

Similar signing to Hoops midfielder?
The player is 19, but has yet to make the breakthrough to the Southampton first-team. On the face of it, the signing looks similar to that of Luca Connell. A player who was signed to make an impact for the future. Hopefully he does a good job for the Hoops should he sign, and makes a breakthrough to the first-team.
Heading out of Celtic Park is Liam Morrison. The starlet has completed his move to Bayern Munich, as reported by the Daily Record.
Youngster makes move to Germany
The centre-back is just 16, but the report claims that Celtic were eager to keep him. However, the player has decided to make the move to Germany.
Moves to huge clubs like Bayern don’t come along that often, so you can’t really blame Morrison for making the move.
Celtic fans will be hoping that there are a few more busy days in the transfer market before the end of the transfer window.
