With Celtic’s transfer business coming under the spotlight over the past couple of months, all eyes will be on Brendan Rodgers in the summer and what type of player the Hoops gaffer will bring to the club.
The Celtic manager has bemoaned the lack of quality in the squad for months now so hopes were high that there would have been significant signings in January to help bolster the squad for the title run-in.
Those moves never transpired and have led to grumblings amongst the Celtic support. But it seems that the club’s search for talent continues as a report from Football Transfers has claimed that the Hoops are watching former Manchester United academy graduate, Adam Berry.
Tipped as one of the best talents to watch at United in 2023, Berry left the club on the 8th of February and is now on trial at Nottingham Forest.
The report also states that as well as Forest and Celtic, the 17-year-old is also being watched by Sheffield United and Blackburn Rovers.
Who is Adam Berry?
The youngster had been part of the Manchester United academy for 12 years before his departure this month.
Predominantly a central midfielder, the versatile youngster can also play as a winger and a number ten.

Berry has made 27 appearances for the Manchester United u18’s scoring two goals and creating four assists. [Transfermarkt]
Remarkably, Berry did spent some time on trial at Rangers earlier this year where he was said to have been involved in two B team games for the Ibrox side against Icelandic side Breidablik and also against Hearts’ B team.
Still searching for a new club, Berry is clearly in demand and will have no shortage of takers when he finally makes a decision on where he sees his future.
