It’s going to be interesting to see what type of Hearts team turns up next season, after Celtic crushed their Premiership title hopes during the recent campaign.

With Celtic looking for goals, especially a competent centre-forward, various names have been linked to the club as Martin O’Neill has put pen to paper to take charge of the 2026/27 campaign.

Hearts’ forward Claudio Braga has been tipped to join Celtic, so 67 Hail Hail asked our TalkingPoints users whether you think this move should happen.

And it’s fair to say that many of you want Braga in the colours of Celtic next term.

Should Celtic push to sign Cláudio Braga now Martin O’Neill is staying?

Celtic fans like the idea of signing Claudio Braga

If Hearts fans thought losing the Premiership title was hard enough to take.

Well, by each passing week, they seem to be waking up to a nightmare because Lawrence Shankland has joined Rangers and is now at the World Cup with Scotland.

While rumours are surfacing that Derek McInnes could also move to Ibrox, so if the Jambos lose any more quality, including Braga, then those at Tynecastle might just explode.

Either way, large sections of fans are backing the idea of Braga joining after he scored 14 goals in 33 league matches.

That resulted in Braga winning Scotland’s PFA Player of the Year, and it’s probably one of many reasons why our TP users want him at Parkhead.

DantOwen81951: ‘Why not? Proven in the league, and the sort of highly-intelligent forward who tends to thrive at Celtic. I can see him playing an Edouard sort of role, dropping deep and linking it.’

JohnPrior999: ‘As standard, the money to switch in the same league gets vastly increased, so unfortunately the outcome will be no…🍀’

LiamWinning88: ‘Could be a good addition to the squad, but we have to see who’s leaving and who’s staying..🇮🇪’

StevenPetrie42: ‘Would be a great signing and will add more firepower.’

Callum_Boyle: ‘Not sure. Thought he was quiet towards the end of the season. For the money we’d be made to pay, we can get better.’

Scorc3529: ‘Absolutely not. Hearts would be looking for crazy money to allow him to leave to a rival, and he wouldn’t be a first-choice pick. With Osmand and Iheanacho as back up, we should be spending proper money on a real proven centre forward, not just someone who has had 1 decent season in the Scottish league.’

Dhxw448m5f: ‘Celtic should continue to buy quality players from whatever club that are willing to sell players for positions that the new manager regards needs. Strengthening.’

JimMcColl20: ‘He must have got this problem sorted before signing up, his reputation is on the table if Martin wants him must be Martin’s decision MUST.’

Martin.Crawford: ‘Would never happen, I think, but I think anyone who watched him last season would take him at Celtic.’

FrankMck55: ‘I believe he would be a great signing for us.’

Illuminifty: ‘Seems a popular idea.’
