Brighton & Hove Albion supporters appear to absolutely love Shane Duffy and reckon he will be a smash hit in the Scottish Premiership with Celtic.
Duffy sealed his dream move to boyhood heroes Celtic earlier today after the club announced a season-long loan deal.
There is no option to buy, but it’s an exciting transfer nonetheless and adds serious competition and depth to Neil Lennon’s defensive line.

The Republic of Ireland international told CelticFC.net: “People will know the connection with Derry in Ireland and Celtic, and it’s all we knew, really.
“Growing up, I was lucky enough to get over to a few games and experience the atmosphere.
“It’s my boyhood club and it’s literally a dream when you’re a kid. Now I get the chance to go to Celtic Park and to play for the club is a huge honour and hopefully I can do them proud.”
The 28-year-old has made 130 appearances for the Seagulls over the years, rising with them from the Championship to the Premier League, making himself an icon of the club in the process.
Last season he didn’t secure as much first-team football compared to previous seasons and the exit at this stage makes perfect sense.

Thankfully it’s Celtic that he has pursued a move to and we’re all looking forward to watching his passion on the pitch.
Alongside Chris Jullien and Kris Ajer, he has the opportunity to be part of a historic defensive unit that provides the foundation for our ten-in-a-row push.
These Brighton fans couldn’t begrudge him his big move and took to Twitter today to share their thoughts on the news…
