Andy Robertson’s agent has visited Istanbul for talks with Fenerbahce, according to a report.
The Liverpool defender seems to already be far down the line in moving to Tottenham at the end of the season, but the ever-growing possibility of the London club being relegated could cause a collapse.
As a result, Robertson continues to be linked with Celtic, with his lifelong support for the club well-known. His availability on a free transfer makes a deal possible for the Hoops.
But there are other clubs in the race too, with Fenerbahce evidently keen.

Andy Robertson’s Fenerbahce talks amid Spurs doubt and Celtic links
According to prominent Fenerbahce insider Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, Robertson’s agent was brought to Istanbul for talks with the Turkish giants.
However, external factors have put negotiations to a halt.

Last Sunday, Fenerbahce were dispatched 3-0 by bitter rivals Galatasaray, all-but ending their title hopes. Days before, they were dumped out of the Turkish Cup in a shock defeat to Konyaspor.
As a result, manager Domenico Tedesco was sacked — but they weren’t finished there. Club president Sadettin Saran has abruptly called early elections in which he will not run.
The sudden change in situation has reportedly led to talks being halted. A new president will not be elected until early June.
As for Tottenham, there are now just three remaining Premier League games to salvage their top-flight status. They have not been relegated since 1977.
Robertson posed with Henrik Larsson at Anfield last week, after a game in which he scored his first goal since announcing that he will leave the Reds.
Given the presence of Kieran Tierney, there remain doubts over whether the timing is right for the Scotland captain to make the move to Glasgow.
Regardless, the rumours will persist until his destination is known.

Andy Robertson considers move ‘every time he watches Celtic’
Asked if he thinks about joining Celtic on The Currie Club almost four years ago, Robertson said: “Every time I watch Celtic, I consider it.
“When you watch them and see a packed Celtic Park, as a fan you always have that dream.
“Ideally I want to finish my career here at Liverpool. If I can stay at the top of my game, at the top of the tree my whole career, that’s the route I want to go down.
“But also, when I look at Celtic and when I was growing up, I was thinking I wanted to give them my best years.
“When I was at Queen’s Park I had a dream of still playing with Celtic and always dreamed of giving my best years to Celtic.
“And now I don’t want to go as a 34 or 35-year-old old guy that my uncles start hating on me because I can’t move any more! Time will tell. I’m very much a person who lives in the moment.
“I don’t look too far ahead and I don’t often look back. There will be a time for that.”
Robertson is currently 32, leaving just two years before his self-imposed cut-off age. He has mostly been used from the bench for Liverpool this season.
