A report claims that Celtic are one of a dozen clubs interested in signing Nice left-back Romain Perraud.
L’Equipe is reporting that although 12 clubs are interested in signing the player, only two have bid for the player – Celtic and Brest.
Indeed, the report goes on to claim that the Hoops have had two bids rejected for the player.

Hoops must be eager to sign player
Perraud spent last season on loan at Paris FC. He made 33 appearances for the Ligue 2 side. The fact that the Hoops have reportedly bid twice shows that he is a player that the Hoops must be interested in.

It could also cast doubt on the future of Kieran Tierney at Celtic. If the Hoops are on the hunt for a left-back, could that mean that Tierney is on his way out of the club?
Could impact on future of key man
Everybody knows that Arsenal are interested in the player. They have had one bid rejected, and are reportedly set to bid again for Tierney.

The Hoops do need to sign another left-back. At the moment, Jonny Hayes look set to play in the upcoming Champions League qualifiers.
That situation can’t last for long. Therefore, it is good to see the club on the hunt for another right-back. However, it does potentially cast doubt on the future of Kieran Tierney.
