Celtic could be handed a chance to sign a player who has been previously linked with the club. Reports in Denmark claim that Copenhagen right-back Peter Ankersen is available for transfer.
Bold.DK is reporting comments made by manager Stale Solbakken. He has disclosed that the player is available for transfer.
If that is the case, the Hoops should move to sign the player as soon as possible. If he is available for transfer, perhaps Copenhagen would not be looking for that much money.
Hoops were linked one month ago

The player has been linked with a move to Glasgow already this summer. Last month the Scottish Sun reported that the Hoops were considering a bid for the player.
The bid didn’t materialise. However, things may change now. The Hoops are still in need of a right-back despite the signing of Hatem Abd Elhamed.
Very experienced player

Ankersen looks like a player that could fit the bill for the Hoops. He is very experienced, he made 47 appearances for Copenhagen last season.
He has been linked with a move to the United Kingdom before. In 2017, talkSPORT reported that Newcastle were quoted a fee of £3.3 million to sign the player.
That fee may have come down by now, as Ankersen is in the last season of his contract. Even if it would take that sort of money to sign the player, the Hoops should make a move. It would be a real boost before the start of the domestic season.
