Reported Celtic target Luke Graham has addressed speculation surrounding his future.

The Dundee defender has been a standout in the Scottish Premiership this season, earning links to a host of clubs.

Celtic are reportedly in the race along with Rangers for the 22-year-old, who has missed just one league game for Steven Pressley’s side this season.

He has now been nominated for the SPFA Young Player of the Year award, where he was quizzed on his future.

Celtic target Luke Graham addresses ‘outside noise’

Graham told the media: “I’ve loved it at Dundee.

“To be honest, I couldn’t give you a proper answer on where I envision myself next season. All I’m trying to do is focus on keeping Dundee in the league.

“A few of my mates have been texting me saying ‘where are you off to?’ and stuff like that but you just try to block it out…

“I think I did that really well in the January window, to keep focusing on my own game and not listen to the outside noise.”

On interest from particular clubs, Graham said: “No, really, I don’t know. I don’t want to get too involved in that while the season’s still ongoing so I really couldn’t tell you.”

A left-sided central defender, Graham is an academy product at Dens Park, and has spent time on loan at Albion Rovers, Montrose and Falkirk.

He has eight caps for Scotland under-21s, scoring for them against Azerbaijan last October.

Asked about the defender’s future earlier this month, Pressley admitted: “I think it’s the nature of the way football works.

“We’re not the only selling club. There’s maybe only one or two clubs in the world that aren’t selling clubs.

“We have to accept that. But as the club have shown over the January window, Luke will not leave unless we get the fee that we think’s acceptable and reflects his value.”

Scottish Premiership players linked with Celtic

Elijah Just is reportedly being watched closely by Celtic, having been named on the shortlist for SPFA Player of the Year.

Tawanda Maswanhise, his free-scoring teammate, has also been widely linked with the Hoops.

Miguel Chaiwa and Josh Mulligan of Hibs have both also been targeted. The midfielders have both impressed since moving to Easter Road last summer.

David Watson of Kilmarnock is attracting the interest of Celtic and others with his contract due to expire at the end of the season.
