The very latest Celtic transfer news this January window, as new emerges regarding Yosuke Ideguchi and Benjamin Siegrist while there are reports on Gustaf Lagerbielke and Nicolas Kuhn.
We’re just a week away from the halfway stage of the current transfer window and Celtic fans are wondering what’s going on.
Granted, there is no reason to panic just yet but a decent signing or two sooner rather than later would put a number of supporters’ minds at rest.
The rumour mill is in full flow, however, so 67 Hail Hail take you the latest of those. But we start with news of a confirmed Celtic exit…
Yosuke Ideguchi leaves Celtic

The Japanese midfielder’s Glasgow nightmare is officially over as the club announced on Tuesday that Ideguchi has joined Vissel Kobe.
The J-League champions have made it a permanent transfer meaning Celtic will have been handed a fee for his services – Ideguchi’s contract was set to run down in 2026.
The fee is undisclosed but it won’t be anything to really shout about. Ideguchi had been on loan at Vissel Kobe’s divisional rivals Avispa Fukuoka after making just six appearances for the Hoops in total.
He was certainly one of Ange Postecoglou’s worst signings and it’s not surprise to see him depart this January.
Benji Siegrist Celtic exit collapses
Another Celtic exit that would make perfect sense is goalkeeper Benjamin Siegrist. The former Dundee United man has made just one Premiership matchday squad this season and it’s time the Swiss stopper leaves Glasgow for good.
He could have done so this month to Austrian side Sturm Graz. The club were apparently keen on signing Siegrist and were working on a deal for the last month.
But the Daily Record say a potential escape route for Siegrist to Austria is now dead in the water because Sturm Graz have ditched their interest in the goalkeeper.
More Celtic transfer news
Elsewhere, defender Gustaf Lagerbielke is wanted by Lecce. But according to Corriere dello Sport, the Italian club have fears they won’t be able to strike a loan deal financially with Celtic.
And Nicolas Kuhn continues to be linked with Celtic, with his Rapid Vienna sports director Markus Katzer telling Sky Sports, as quoted by Football Scotland: “Every player has his price. If the offer is right, of course you have to deal with it.”
£2.5m could reportedly be enough for the Hoops to convince Rapid Vienna to sell their star winger.
