French Ligue 1 side Troyes are the latest club to have scouted reported Celtic target Mohanad Jeahze.
The Hammarby left-back has been strongly linked with a £2m move to the Hoops in recent months, with some reports even suggesting that the deal was close to completion.
However, the 25-year still remains with his current side in Sweden, taking part in the recent Swedish cup final against Malmo last week.

Jeahze was on the losing side, as Malmo came out winners on penalties. However, there appeared to be more at stake for the left-back, with clubs watching his performance during the cup final.
According to a report from Swedish media outlet Fotboll Direkt, French side Troyes were at the fixture last Thursday, keeping a close eye on the Iraqi internationalist.
The report claims that despite Celtic being ‘close’ to a move, they aren’t alone in pursuing the full-back, with the French Ligue 1 side watching Jeahze in action.
After securing promotion to the French top flight, Troyes finished 15th place in Ligue 1 last season and are now looking to build upon that.
It appears that they are eyeing up a potential move for Jeahze as part of their recruitment this summer.
Troyes are also known for being part of the City Group, who have had their links to Celtic in recent years, which may suggest why the two sides have a familiar left-back target in mind.
Celtic’s chase for a left-back continues
It is clear that one of Ange Postecoglous main targets during this summer’s transfer window is another left-back option to challenge Greg Taylor.
Along with Jeahze, the Hoops have been linked to several left-back targets at this early stage of the summer.

The 25-year old Hammarby full-back did appear close to a move to Glasgow. However, the race to sign Jeahze seems very much on between the Hoops and Troyes.
Other clubs could also join the race for the impressive full-back. So, hopefully, if the Bhoys’ chase for Jeahze doesn’t go to plan, there are plenty of backup options Postecoglou can turn to in the transfer market.
