Stal Mielic’s club president Jacek Klimek has revealed it will cost €2.5 million to sign Celtic-linked striker Said Hamulic from the Polish side.
The 22-year-old Dutch forward is currently playing his football in the top flight of Polish football after joining Stal Mielec last summer.
After spells in Holland, Bulgaria and Lithuania, Hamulic appears to be finding his best form with the 7th-place PKO Ekstraklasa’s side.

His form in Poland has led to inevitable links elsewhere in Europe after scoring nine goals and providing four assists in 17 league games.
One of the clubs showing an interest, alongside sides from France, Belgium, Italy and the Netherlands was Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic, according to Italian outlet TuttoMarcatoWeb.
The forward very much fits the profile of the 57-year-old’s attacking options, being able to play through the middle and also off the left.
With recent reports suggesting that Hoops frontman Giorgos Giakoumakis could be set for a January exit, the Bhoys’ links to new strikers have started to increase.
So, with Hamulic finding form in Poland, it may come as no surprise to some to see the striker, who can play for the Dutch and Bosnian national teams, linked with a potential move to Parkhead.
No further reports have risen suggesting Celtic have taken their initial interest to the next level. However, we are now aware of what it would cost if the Hoops recruitment team chose to make a move for the Dutch-born striker.

Speaking in a recent interview, Stal Mielic’s club president Jacek Klimek revealed it would cost around €2.5 million to sign Said Hamulic, with interest from across Europe expecting to arrive after the January transfer opened at the end of last week.
He said [Weszlo]: “Said (Hamulic) is in demand in Europe. Every day we negotiate his transfer, even today I refused a club from France.
“We would like to keep him, but it will not be easy, especially since looking at Said you can see that from time to time his thoughts are already in other places.
“We are expecting €2.5 million for it, and we have now received one such offer, which may soon see the light of day.
“However, not everything will go to us because we have to pay one more instalment to his previous club from Lithuania, and additionally 30% of the total amount will also go to this place. Adding to this tax, about a million euros will come out in profit.”
A move from Celtic for Hamulic seems unlikely, with attention appearing to be elsewhere.

Although Said Hamulic appears to very much be within Celtic’s price range, at this moment in time, it seems unlikely the Bhoys will make a move for the Polish league striker.
Initial reports suggested that the Hoops were ‘very interested’ in the frontman. However, we are yet to see any follow-up reports that confirm Celtic’s interest.
At this stage, the Bhoys’ focus appears to be elsewhere, as the club looks to several different striker options in the January transfer window.
Ultimately, it seems likely a move for a new striker will be one of Ange Postecoglou’s main priorities in this January transfer window.
But no new signing looks to be imminent, and we are yet to hear of reports suggesting we are interested in one particular striker option.
So, it seems more likely that Hamulic could end up elsewhere in Europe across the next month.
In other news, Celtic already reaping the rewards of January transfer strategy.
