The last two league games have been quite sobering for the Celtic support and perhaps the players and management.
After a brilliant start to the league season, with Celtic winning their opening six games of the campaign, the Hoops have stumbled.
The 1-1 draw with Hibs was followed by the 2-0 loss to Livingston, and as a result Celtic currently sit in second place in the Premiership table.
Recent defeat was alarming

The defeat to Livingston in particular will be seen as alarming by a section of the Hoops support. Celtic didn’t come close to scoring a goal. That is a concern when going for nine titles in a row is so important to the club.
Celtic look like a club who could do with another striker. Odsonne Edouard can’t do it all on his own. When he is having an off-day, other players must step up.
That didn’t happen against Livingston, where Vakoun Issouf Bayo struggled. In such a massive season for the club, perhaps Celtic should look to bring in a free agent to make sure that as many goals are scored as possible.
One player that is still without a club is Wilfried Bony. Recent reports linked him with a move to Bristol City, but that move is not happening.
Struggled to live up to form

It is fair to say that Bony has struggled to live up to his form at Swansea, which won him a £28 million move to Manchester City.
However, it could at least be worth offering the player a trial. Normally it might not be the best idea to sign players who are currently without a club.
But for this season, all that should matter to Celtic is winning the league. That is why a move for Bony might not be such a bad idea. If he can recover the form he showed in his first spell at Swansea, he could do a job for the Hoops.
