Celtic are on the lookout for a new striker this summer.
The Bhoys want to find a proper replacement for Kyogo who left for Rennes in January for £10m, while they are also keen to provide Adam Idah with some competition.
Mathias Kvistgaarden remains a strong target and Celtic are likely to continue that particular pursuit in the coming months after trying hard in the winter.
While Slovan Bratislava hitman David Strelec is another who Celtic bid for unsuccessfully – could they go back in for the 24-year-old?
Now, a new name has emerged, unsurprisingly given it’s almost transfer silly season. And a Dutch TV pundit is certain Celtic are scouting this goal-scoring forward.

Celtic reportedly scouting Telstar hitman Youssef El Kachati
The Hoops are said to be tracking Telstar striker Youssef El Kachati, who plies his trade in the Eerste Divisie.
Initially, ESPN.nl – via the Daily Record – claimed that Celtic representatives were at the Sportpark Schoonenberg on Friday night to watch Telstar take on Den Bosch in the Eredivise promotion play-off second leg.
El Kachati started the match and scored a first-half penalty as Telstar won 2-1 on the night and on aggregate to clinch top-flight promotion.
During TV punditry of the match, former Brighton & Hove Albion star Hans Kraay then confirmed that Celtic scouts were present to evaluate El Kachati’s display.
Kraay said: “Celtic were in the stands to watch Youssef El Kachati. I know that for sure. He has been in contact with Hannover and he has been in contact with Schalke too.
“He has a lot of interest from other clubs too, including ones in the Eredivisie. He can take his pick at the end of the season. He wants to go abroad.”
Celtic move for El Kachati would be low risk
This is an interesting one for the Hoops and ticks a lot of boxes. El Kachati clearly has an eye for goal and is at a good age at 25 with regards to sell-on value.
Crucially, he is out of contract this summer and it means Celtic need not worry if they sign him and the transfer does not work out as planned.
And with the likes of Schalke interested, despite them being a 2. Bundesliga club now, it shows El Kachati is well respected across Europe.
The Daily Mail have added that Celtic have actually been tracking him for the past few months, which would align with when Kyogo departed Parkhead for France.
The publication also state that even if the Hoops were to sign El Kachati for nothing, the club are still expected to go out and spend on a forward player.
