Elijah Just’s agent has provided an update on the links claiming that his client is on Celtic’s radar this summer.

Celtic are set for a big rebuild this summer and the New Zealand international may be one of those that the Hoops target to give the squad a new lease of life.

Elijah Just’s agent confirms there is interest in Motherwell star

Just’s agent Gustaf Grauers spoke to CeltsAreHere to see if Celtic were one of the clubs that are looking at his client.

While Grauers didn’t specifically name the Bhoys, he confirmed that there was interest, but that wouldn’t be addressed until the end of the World Cup.

He said: “I can confirm that there is interest in Elijah without going into specifics but he remains fully focused on Motherwell and to finish the season strong.

“And then for the upcoming World Cup with New Zealand.”

Elijah Just has one more chance to audition for Celtic move

After finishing in the top six with the Steelmen, Just will have one more chance to showcase his talents to Celtic live and direct.

He was on the scoresheet in Celtic’s win against Motherwell, and will hope to play in the penultimate game of the season at Fir Park.

That could be the 25-year-old’s last time playing in front of the home fans and, who knows, may be the final time Celtic go up against him.
