Celtic fans are hoping the club’s transfer business gets a move during the final month of the window.
As of this moment, eight players have been signed by Celtic, some returning faces, such as Kieran Tierney, and others joining from the much-used J-League in Japan.
But on Tuesday, Celtic announced the signing of Jahmai Simpson-Pusey, with the 19-year-old joining from Manchester City on a season-long loan deal.
It’s a signing that has got the thumbs up from the Celtic fans, and it also seems to be a popular move within the player’s circle.

So, you would presume that the former England striker has been watching a fair bit of the youngsters, including Simpson-Pusey.
When Simpson-Pusey posted a picture of himself holding the Celtic shirt on Instagram, he was applauded by Heskey in the comments section, including a few of the defender’s teammates backing him to thrive.

Brendan Rodgers plays a big part in Simpson-Pusey joining Celtic
There might be a lot of talk around Brendan Rodgers’ future at Celtic, but he is still luring in the top talents, as Simpson-Pusey acknowledged.
The Manchester City youngster has explained that the Celtic manager played a big part in joining the champions of Scotland.
“It’s such a big club,” stated Simpson-Pusey. “I am happy to come here, play in front of the fans and play for the team.
“I had a big, long conversation with the manager. I liked what he was saying to me about the club. How much he appreciates the club and how much Glasgow appreciates the club, so I felt like I want to go somewhere, if I am playing, then I want to feel appreciated. It was the best option.”
