There was only one signing on deadline day for the Hoops.

Celtic have officially signed Paulo Bernardo on a season-long loan from Benfica.

However, what is fantastic news for Brendan Rodgers and his side is that they have the option to buy the midfielder should he impress.

One outgoing for Celtic – Ismaila Soro to Beitar Jerusalem.

The 25-year-old has agreed to a two-year contract with an option of another season with the club finished eighth last season in Israel’s top flight, via the BBC.

Tomoki Iwata – Celtic have sealed a permanent transfer for the 26-year-old from Yokohama F Marinos.

Odin Thiago Holm – Celtic confirmed their first new signing this summer in the 20-year-old from Eliteserien club Valerenga on June 22.

Luis Palma – The 23-year-old agreed to a £3.5m transfer to Celtic from Aris Thessaloniki on August 30.

Nat Phillips – Celtic confirmed the signing of the centre-back on loan from Liverpool for the first half of the 2023/24 season on August 31.

Jota – Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Ittihad confirmed the £25m signing of the 24-year-old from Celtic on July 3.

Conor Hazard – Plymouth Argyle secured the £150k signing of the goalkeeper from Celtic on July 11.

Carl Starfelt – Celta Vigo confirmed the signing of the 28-year-old in a €5m (£4.5m) switch from Celtic on August 10.

Adam Montgomery – Fleetwood Town confirmed the loan signing of the 20-year-old from Celtic on July 3.
