Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster is familiar with one of the Hoops’ recent signings – Mohamed Elyounoussi. The duo were both at Southampton last season.
Now the pair are both at Celtic on loan. Forster has already played for the Bhoys since returning to the club, and seems to have established himself as the new number one goalkeeper at Celtic.
Elyounoussi joined up at the club a bit later than Forster, and has yet to make an appearance for Celtic. Forster is looking to when he makes that debut though.
“A fantastic signing”

“It’s a fantastic signing” Forster said, as reported by the Scottish Sun.
“Mo has been unfortunate in the last year, but he has done well at his previous clubs.”
Elyounoussi has joined up with Celtic for the season as he has been unable to hold down a first-team place with the Premier League side.
Where will he fit into team?

It will be intriguing to see where the attacker fits into the Celtic team. The Hoops seem to be consistently using James Forrest, Mikey Johnston and Ryan Christie in the attacking roles, supporting Odsonne Edouard.
However, perhaps the recent injury picked up by Johnston could give Elyounoussi a chance to make a claim for a first-team place for the Hoops.
Elyounoussi has a good pedigree as a player. The fact that a player like Forster, who has played with many excellent performers in the past is such a fan can only be a good thing.
