Eurosport journalist Manu Lonjon has reported this week that Celtic are interested in signing Rennes teenager Brandon Soppy.
Le RB Leipzig accélère fort sur Brandon Soppy ( Rennes) .
Nice et le Celtic ( entre autres) également intéressé.

Soppy has yet to feature in competitive action for the Ligue 1 side, but did appear in friendlies for them last summer prior to the 2019/20 campaign.
This season his most prominent appearances came in the UEFA Youth League where he played twice as a right-back and once at centre-back (Transfermarkt).
Lonjon reports that both RB Leipzig and Nice are keen on his services too, with the Germans said to be advancing their interest.
Late last year, cash-rich clubs such as Monaco and Wolves were reported to have an interest in the player, with L’Equipe suggesting a bid of €8m could be in the offing.
That seems expensive for a player who has yet to make a senior appearance, even if he is part of a talented French U18 side. It would surely also rule Celtic out of making a move.
We made similarly expensive transfers for Odsonne Edouard and Christopher Jullien, however, the former had been on loan in Glasgow for a while and Jullien had plenty of games under his belt at a good level.
Buying stars of the future is always welcome but not if they come so expensively.
It all seems rather speculative right now anyway. I’m not sure transfers will feature high up the list of priorities for Celtic at the moment, with everything else going on in football.
Soppy though is at least a name to look out for in the future.
