Go Ahead Eagles technical director Marc van Hintum has confirmed that no clubs have yet come forward for Jakob Breum.
That’s despite Celtic reportedly being set to reignite their interest in the midfielder which first emerged last summer.
The highly-rated Danish midfielder managed 13 goal contributions last season, despite missing a chunk of it through injury.
After last summer’s saga, it appears that Celtic are moving at just as slow a pace this time around.

Technical director Marc van Hintum: No clubs have come forward for Jakob Breum
Van Hintum told De Sentor that, though the club is happy to facilitate a sale at the right price, no clubs have come forward.
Celtic sent several bids last summer, having them all rejected.

This summer, the Hoops were also interested in Breum’s teammate, goalkeeper Jari de Busser, though he has now agreed a move to AZ Alkmaar.
Van Hintum publicly mocked Celtic’s attempts to sign Breum last year, drawing unfavourable comparisons between them and Rangers’ attempts to sign Oliver Antman.
Breum is 22 and is now in the final year of his contract. The lack of an approach from another club indicates that a deal could be done swiftly.
Pre-season is now well underway, and the Hoops are yet to sign a single player. Nothing even appears to be imminent at this stage.
Even Marcelo Saracchi and Kelechi Iheanacho, both of whom are keen to remain in Glasgow having been at the club last season, are not close to returns at present.
Hearts, on the other hand, have now signed seven players and intend to get more. At this point, Hoops fans will be used to things moving this slowly.

Jakob Breum on nearly joining Celtic
Speaking to Dutch outlet Destentor earlier this season, Breum reflected on the saga last summer, and didn’t seem too bothered.
He said: “To be honest, it wasn’t a huge issue for me.
“Of course, when reports appear in the media after you haven’t heard anything for a month and family members ask if you’re going, it’s strange.
“But I tried to remain professional and also told the manager that I really wanted to play for this club. Hopefully, everyone saw that during that period.”
