Now that the Celtic fans’ interest in Euro 2024 is likely to wane with Scotland’s exit, they now wait to see what the club does in the transfer market to help improve the team for the upcoming season.
Brendan Rodgers has millions of Champions League pounds burning a hole in Celtic’s pocket and will be hoping that the board gives him a significant chunk of that to spend on the first team.
With a goalkeeper position a clear priority for the Celtic manager, that still hasn’t stopped the club from being linked to various players in different positions.
One of those players, Bojan Miovski, has been consistently linked to Celtic this summer and it seems that the race to win his signature is starting to hot up according to the latest report from Bristol Live.
Bristol City pull out of the race for Bojan Miovski
Miovski seems to be garnering a lot of attention this summer due to his goalscoring exploits for Aberdeen last season.
According to the report, English Championship side, Bristol City, has pulled out of the race for his signature due to being outpriced for the Macedonian international.
And, according to The Courier [print edition page 49], Aberdeen values Miovksi closer to £7m due to the number of interested teams in the 24-year-old striker.
26 goals in 54 games for a struggling Aberdeen side has seen Miovski become one of the hottest players in Pittodrie.

At £7m, it remains to be seen if that would rule out Brendan Rodgers from making a move for the player the Celtic manager recently admitted that he liked after they beat The Dons in the Scottish Cup semi-final back in April.
With most of the chat surrounding Adam Idah joining Celtic, will the Bhoys look to add one, or even both players, should they become available this summer?
At £7m for Miovski, you would have to say that could be too rich for the Parkhead club.
